Youth Ministry
Recognizing that our youth are our church leaders of tomorrow, AUMC is growing our ministry for youth. In the nursery, available for children through age 5, the younger children are supervised in a nurturing atmosphere of love. Sunday School is available for children ages 6 and up. The curriculum is tailored to the age level and includes enough technology and activities to maintain their attention while teaching them about the love of Jesus. Sunday School children stay with their families in the sanctuary during the first part of the service and are dismissed to class after a children's blessing and a monthly puppet show. Children stay in class until picked up by their families after the service, except on the first Sunday of the month. when they return to their families in the sanctuary to participate in communion.
