Announcements:

(1) You are invited to join "The Chosen" watch/discussion group on every Wednesday 10am at the conference room.(It is a new series for Wednesday Fellowship Time group). You do not have to sign up but just show up. The group will meet until around Christmas time. Contact John Ruhl(johnruhl729@gmail.com) for any questions.

(2) Join Post-Easter sermon series, "Prayer" (April 19th to May 31st). This sermon series goes with 'Breakthrough Prayer" initiative which Aldersgate leadership will implement this May for our church to experience spiritual revitalization. We hope that you and your loved ones will be challenged to alter your perspectives for prayer life.

(3) The next prayer meeting will be Tuesday April 28th 10:30am at the conference room. Bring your concerns and pray with others to experience the power of prayer. Until the Discipleship series (Fall of 2026), Aldersgate will have once a month (the last Tuesday) prayer meeting.

(4) (A New Kind) Aldersgate Rummage Sale will be May 9th (Sat.) 10am-3pm at our parking lot. This will be a missional event to support our local charities. Tables will be available to display their wares. All leftovers will be donated to charities. Call Aldersgate office (815-654-3800) to reserve your spot and table(s). Spread your words. Contact Jay Alms or Mike O'Hea for more information.

(5) Church Council will meet on April 15th(Wed.) 5pm.

(6) Church Calendar Point person will be John and Linda Ruhl. They will communicate with Mary of the office and Taylor (AUMC website manage), so we will all have the updated and correct calendar. Inform all your committee's upcoming meetings, events and other activities to John Ruhl (johnruhl729@gmail.com, 708-302-8125) please.
