Sarah Hong

Pastor Sarah Hong loves swimming, walking and romantic comedies. Before she came to Aldersgate, she served churches in Minooka, New Lenox and Dixon (Illinois), Atlanta, GA, and New York City. Pastor Sarah was ordained in 2010 in the Northern Illinois Conference. She has attended more than 25 mission trips all around North America including Yucatan, Mexico 4 times. Pastor Sarah is passionate about bringing new people to Jesus Christ and having fun activities for all ages. Pastor Sarah is married to Pastor Caleb of Christ UMC (Rockford). They have two young adult daughters, Lydia and Abigail. Pastor Sarah received a Masters of Divinity from Candler School of Theology, Emory University, Atlanta, GA and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Princeton Theological Seminary, Princeton, NJ.
