Noisy Can Mission
Started on October 2023, Noisy Can Collection was created to collect coins monthly and pay out quarterly to a list of donation areas that others have requested we help. We do this on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
The cans were spray painted in a variety of colors and the kids take them around to those in the pews to collect all loose coins offered. They are to shake the cans to make noise as our organist plays joyful music. The beaming faces are on the kids as much as they are on the congregation. Its fun to watch the kids collect.
In 2023 we provided clothing to Rock House Kids, hats, gloves, socks and sweat pants. We also made a cash donation to Noah’s Ark Animal Shelter to help provide shots and food for the cats and dogs there.
